This module offers a structured, self-correcting assessment system designed to help learners identify their current Dutch language level in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The assessment is accompanied by a speaking exam, for which you need to confirm your participation in the final question. You will then be contacted by info@linguadutch.com to discuss further planning.
How does it work?
Through a series of automatically graded tests, learners receive immediate feedback on their performance across key language skills, including vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and functional language use. The module is designed as a diagnostic and advisory tool, enabling learners to gain insight into their current level and receive guidance on the most appropriate next steps in their learning journey.
It is important to note that this module does not provide an official certification of language level. Learners who wish to obtain a formally recognised certificate are encouraged to contact us directly to receive information about official examinations and certification pathways.
The assessments are carefully constructed around real-life communicative contexts and thematic progression, reflecting authentic language use across levels A1 to B2. Topics include personal introductions, daily life, social interaction, professional communication, and abstract discussion, ensuring that evaluation goes beyond isolated grammar knowledge and focuses on meaningful language use .
Each test is designed to:
- Provide instant, automated correction and feedback
- Offer level-based recommendations for further study
- Support flexible entry points into language learning trajectories
- Encourage learner autonomy and self-reflection
The module follows a progressive structure, where tasks increase in complexity from basic survival communication (A1) to independent and nuanced language use (B2). This progression mirrors communicative development found in structured learning paths, where learners move from simple interactions to more complex discussions and professional contexts .
By combining pedagogical coherence, CEFR alignment, and adaptive feedback, this module enables learners to make informed decisions about their learning journey and supports institutions in offering targeted, efficient language training.
